Connect to Team Foundation Server (TFS) 2008

STEP 1

  1. Open Visual Studio 2008
  2. Under "Tools" select "Connect to Team Foundation Server"

  1. If projects are already on the TFS server, select the projects you may be involved with
STEP 3

  1. If you've never connected to the TFS server, click the "Servers..." button
  2. Type in the domain name associated with the TFS server under "Team Foundation Server Name", such as "tfs.my-site.com"

  1. You'll see the projects you've selected as well as the Team Explorer pane
